Harrison killed his 1st of many deer to come on Wednesday night! yeah Harrison, he cooked some stew in the crock pot tonight with carrots, onions, & potatos, it smelled & looked great but I try to avoid wild game!! ugghhh! Reagan thought the deer ws cute & wanted to pet it (only in south georgia, i tell u!)

My husband and son love it, but the girls and I don't eat it. My husband eats quite a bit of wild game. I say no thank you.
I don't love it by itself but if you mix it with a little beef, I like it.

I'm a bit shocked at the tongue-lolling deadness of the deer. On the bonnet of your truck too? Though maybe you see those a triumphant bringing home the wild game dents...
Having said all that, I rarely pass up the opportunity to eat venison at fancy restaurants. Very yummy especially when pink.
I suppose I just have to get real about how it made it's way to my plate.
